So the problem with rail replacement bus services (other than the fact that someone just farted and, from the smell of things, should probably consult a doctor) is the lack of luggage space. You take a train that has overhead racks, slots between seats and racks at either end and you stuff all that luggage and the people onto a single double decker. Makes for a fun journey.
