We have been reminded that we require the correct type of ticket for the class of carriage we are in. This was then more explicitly explained to us [and I quote] “…you need a first class ticket to stand in first class…” [my emphasis]. If I was a first class ticket holder I would be looking for a seat in any class and demanding a refund if I had to stand in either class or sit in pleb class.
