No Skating

OK, so while its not strictly commuting it is [tenuously] transport and it is causing the South East to produce an entire generation of young children (mainly girls) who are rule breakers. I am talking, of course, about the flagrant disregard for the skating ban in Bluewater by children in their shoes with skates in the heel (I’m sure there is a name for them but I don’t know it).

There are signs everywhere (more so than the no smoking signs) and yet hordes of children are still flaunting this ban and skating about. What’s worse is their parents are not stopping them, and in some cases, are encouraging them.

You may think this is a small and petty gripe but those 7 and 8 year old children will be the next generation of ipod blaring, door holding, isle blocking commuters. Parents, the future of commuting is in your hands. Act now.
